This car came into our shop for a complete check over as the customer had only had the 2CV for 2 weeks.
This is a 1980 2CV with the 602cc engine and disk brake gearbox. It’s the special model with the small dashboard. The car has the old front bench seat from the 70′s.
The customer requested nice freshly sprayed wheel rims and 4 new tires. We will also be adding new seat covers to revive the seats.
When we were inspecting the car we found that the frame was bent and needed quite some work. So we’ll be fitting a galvanized frame.
We’ll then get the engine some overhaul with a new alternator, starter motor and tuneup. While we’re at it, we will work on the brakes.
This 2 CV6, is now fitted on a brand new Galvanised frame. Almost ready to go.
Registered and licensed in the US, the car is in our shop in Lakewood New Jersey. Work is in progress. She is sold and now prepared for the custom preferences of the customer.
This 2cv charleston has just arrived at our shop. We will install a brand new galvanized frame, a brand new hood and will give it a complete overhaul.
As you can see the floors and the top of frame are in really bad shape.

The work has now been completed on this 2CV and will soon be on its way back to her owner in long island in new York.
She now enjoys a new galvanized frame, new front and rear brakes, new clutch, complete going over all mechanics.
This 2CV will end up like a brand new car, if not better!
The customer is having lots of chrome under the engine compartment along with a brand new frame, floors, box section, and hood.
Ben Boyle is a customer I speak to a lot. We knew his frame would need doing in the future however the other week he called me and said his steering had gone stiff. I knew this was the start of the frame bending and the following week the car came into me for a new frame.The car had a brand new galvanized frame along with new front box section panels inner and outer.
Now the car is back home in Michigan and he is using it everyday.
Our customer only lives 10 miles from us and after having got the 2cv off eBay a few months ago, he found out it needed a new frame as the old one was bending!!!
(Note this is a right hand drive from England!!!!)
Now the car is all done and back on NJ roads.
This is a 1978 Brown/Beige 2CV that came in from Holland last month and has just been sold to its new owner in NYC. It is an original French 2CV that spent its whole life in France until it arrived to NJ last month!
It is now starting its new life in NYC, after I installed a new exhaust, front and rear brakes and gave it a complete service.
This customer drove his 2cv all the way from Indianapolis to us in new jersey!!!!!!!!
We are fitting a brand new galvanized frame, complete paint job (keeping the car the same color). Once done, the car will be transformed!!!!!!
Also engine rebuild taking place(engine got hot and melted a piston).
Full service and interior for an AK350. This truckette was sold before she even arrived into the usa. It is starting its new life in the states by going up to NYC where it is going to be used as a advertising vehicle for our customers business. More pics to come one she arrives and has her sign writing done to it.
